Your role

Graduated selected for the PROTÉGÉ will undergo eight (8) months of learning on-the-job experience with Group Technology in Maybank.

Training and development

Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneur (PROTÉGÉ ) is one of Maybank Group's Corporate Responsibility programs in support of the Government's initiatives to enhance the employability of unemployed graduates. The trainees will undergo an intensive two weeks soft skills training at Maybank Academy. 

The learning frames are focused on cutting-edge and client-confronting jobs, comprehensive of Self-improvement, Serious Business English as well as Administration and Hierarchical Viability.

Compensation and benefits

Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneur (PROTÉGÉ) is paid program. The trainees will get compensation up to MYR 2,000 per month.

Upon completion of the training programme, PROTÉGÉ trainees will be interviewed for the various frontline or other IT positions available in Maybank offices nationwide to undergo on-the-job training for 8 months.

About you

Here are the qualifications to join the program:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or Human Resource Management
• Not attached to any company for more than 12 months
• Highly developed proficiency in English
• Excellent at articulating information in both writing and speaking
• Positive attitude and ability to approach adversity with a growth mindset
