Your role

As a QA Tester & Product Management Specialist at Shopee Malaysia, you will have the following duties:

• Work closely with the Product Managers, Software Developers, and Customer Experience team to understand the features and implementation, ensuring the quality of every owned feature in each app release.
• Work with Business Product Teams and assist to develop and execute test cases based on the business requirements
• Provide prompt updates on testing progress and clear escalation of potential risks to the Product Manager
• Provide comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defect management for the required sign-offs
• Perform ad-hoc duties such as handling production issues, i.e raising JIRA tickets and following up with stakeholders

About you

To join as a QA Tester & Product Management Specialist at Shopee Malaysia, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized university
• Preferred with at least 1 year of experience as a software tester UAT tester or junior product owner
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Able to communicate in both English and Malay, both written and verbal.
• Able to work independently or with minimal assistance
• Highly goal-driven and able to work well in dynamic environments
• Interest in fintech, e-wallet, and payment technology.
