Your role

As a Corporate Sustainability Intern - Business Development Centre at PwC Malaysia, your key responsibilities are as follows:

  • 4-Assist the CS team in planning to execution of events/programmes/campaigns under the CR, environment, inclusion & diversity pillars
  • Draft emails to staff on the announcement of events/programs/campaigns
  • Liaise with volunteers and participants for our programs
  • Manage weekly attendance for our programs
  • Work closely with the social media team to promote programs

Training & development

In general, PwC utilizes more traditional ways of learning, such as classes or online courses, to foster core skills and technical expertise. This accounts for 10% of their learning approach. Apart from learning by doing, PwC provides its employees with coaching. The employee’s coach is the person who guides them along their career path and provides feedback and support when needed. This accounts for 20% of their learning approach. PwC believes that the most effective way to learn is by being on the job, even if the employee is doing it for the first time. They offer a deep dive into challenging business cases with real clients while working in different teams and industries. This accounts for 70% of their learning approach.

About you

To apply for this role, you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum Academic Requirement: Pursuing a degree in any discipline
  • Preferably looking for 4-6 months internship
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Possess good leadership skills and demonstrate resilience
  • Demonstrate the ability to build meaningful relationships
  • Able to demonstrate analytical thinking and business acumen
  • Experience working on events/programs in the university
  • Can do basic design work (Canva is acceptable)
  • Experience working on events/programs in universities and can do basic design work (Canva is fine)
