At the PGAT (Penang Assembly and Test) factory, the company is at the forefront of manufacturing the latest products for Intel.

As a Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) Assembly Integrator Intern, you will be supporting the PGAT factory in establishing an effective communication plan to pass down to the technicians.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 

  • Assist the management team in developing effective pass-down strategies for the technicians
  • Be creative in using different communication methods (video/PowerPoint/multimedia) to enable messages to be delivered across the team

Work-life balance

The regular office hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Saturday and for the shift, working hours will be 12 hours (7 am to 7 pm). However, Intel applies flexible working hours as well, so you can work within flexible hours as long as the work is well delivered.

About you

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Mass Communications, Communication, and any related background.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and writing skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Problem-solving and attention to details
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoints, and other tools including SharePoint.
  • Good video editing skills for communication packages to technicians.
  • Preference for an intern with 6 months duration
