Your role

As a System Validation Intern at Intel Malaysia, you will be involved in IC validation, platform, and infrastructure enablement works for high-speed FPGA/PLD devices that include some of the following responsibilities:

  • Develop new device validation strategies, plans, and schedules by integrating different requirements from various engineering and business departments.
  • Design and generate test and measurement patterns/vectors for characterization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review the design and analyze the impact of validation strategies and put forward design recommendations to improve validation coverage.
  • Perform bench measurements for high-speed FPGA/PLD devices using state-of-the-art characterization equipment (high bandwidth oscilloscope, high-frequency pulse/signal generator, programmable power supply, digital multimeter, etc.).
  • Drive exploration of IP validation methodology, platform, and infrastructure enablement to improve process and throughput.

Work-life balance

The regular office hour starts from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Saturday and for the shift, working hours will be 12 hours (7 am to 7 pm). Specifically, for this role, you will be eligible for Intel hybrid work model which allows you to split your time between working on-site at your assigned Intel site and off-site.

About you

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Embedded/Software Engineering.
  • Highly motivated to learn and adapt to fast-changing technologies and environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of C, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
