Your role

As an FPGA Engineer Graduate Trainee, you will be responsible for the following roles:

  • Design implementation of solutions in an FPGA
  • You will be required to study IP features requirements, write System Verilog or Verilog programs, implement them in Quartus, perform placement and route optimizations, program them in an FPGA, and perform the lab measurement
  • You will also require to write scripts for automation and performance analysis
  • Participate in cross-functional teams working on product definition and development
  • Run power, performance, and area solutions tread-off and gaps analysis
  • Execute lab measurements for tread-off analysis
  • Write technical documentation and presentation

About you

To apply for this position, you have to fulfill the requirements below:

  • The candidate must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field
  • Hardware description language (Verilog, System Verilog, etc)
  • Experience with scripting: Python and/or Perl and Excel Marco

You will be strongly accepted if you have the preferred skills below:

  • Familiar with FPGA design tools like Quartus Prime and common EDA simulation tools like Modelsim, Verdi, and/or VCS
  • Basic understanding of HW board design process including schematics capture, design flow, and layout
  • A basic understanding of electrical validation, usage experience with Oscilloscopes, and simple hardware lab test equipment is required.
