Your Role
Key responsibilities as follows:
- Prepares and sends inputs to payroll vendors for compensation calculation.
- Performs computations and prepares payroll information for computer input.
- Creates and maintains employee master data and payroll reports.
- Ensures accurate payment of wages and benefits.
- Resolves payroll issues and responds to employee inquiries.
- Conducts audits of payroll records for accuracy.
- Prepares records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Monitors and addresses any payroll discrepancies.
- Reports process improvement recommendations to management.
- Champions lean methodologies and cost-competitive solutions.
- Ensures compliance with internal and external payroll policies.
- Collaborates with other departments on payroll changes.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Computer literacy and analytical skills.
- Versatility and ability to work odd hours if required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in payroll accounting, SOX, and automation is advantageous.
