LinuxOS Development Engineer Graduate Talent (Rolling Intake)

Join Intel as a LinuxOS Development Engineer to design and develop software solutions for innovative PC products.

Your Role

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Design, develop, integrate, test, and debug software across various layers, including firmware, drivers, and operating systems.
• Work on middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications/UI for specific technologies and platforms.
• Develop software to enable features, capabilities, and solutions for Intel products.
• Collaborate with the Client Computing Group to drive business strategy and product development.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong understanding of open-source development methodology and practices.
• Experience in Linux system software development, including build configuration and customization.
• Proficiency in Python, shell scripts, C/C++, and experience with git as a source control system.
• Knowledge in networking, toolchain, graphics, virtual machines, security frameworks, and container/cloud technologies.
• Preferred experience with Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, Debian, or RHEL.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-geo team environment.
• An academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computational Science.
