Your role
Key responsibilities as follows:
- Participate in the design, development, QA, and delivery of corporate standard cell libraries using leading process technologies.
- Design and implement combinatorial, power management, and sequential circuits for Intel's newest process technologies.
- Perform parasitic extraction and optimization for power, performance, robustness, and density.
- Develop automation for library modeling, validation, quality checking, performance, and reliability verification.
- Characterize libraries for timing, noise, power, and variation models.
- Build, validate, release, and support libraries for Intel's SoC and microprocessor design projects.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of a BS/MS in VLSI, EE, Computer Science, Engineering, or Microelectronics specialization.
- Experience in digital circuit design, including CMOS combinatorial logic and sequential element design and layout.
- Knowledge of circuit simulation, synthesis, place and route, and physical design verification.
- Experience in scripting (TCL, Perl, Python, cshell) for design automation.
- Experience working in the Linux environment and its development tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer/result orientation, and the ability to work with external teams.
