Join Intel's Client Computing Group to design and optimize custom digital circuits for CPUs in Malaysia.
Your role
Key responsibilities as follows:
- Designs, develops, and builds custom digital circuits for CPUs, including memory and caches.
- Designs floorplans, performs circuit design, schematic entry, and simulation for CPU blocks.
- Verifies functionality to optimize custom circuits for power, performance, area, timing, and yield goals.
- Creates block-level DFT models and develops memory test tools.
- Improves and automates design flows and methodologies.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to report design progress and resolve performance and design issues.
- Optimizes performance, power, and area, reduces leakage of CPU circuits, and drives characterization of memory instances and compilers.
- Works with CPU architecture and layout teams to enhance circuit functionality and robustness.
About you
Ideal candidates will have:
- A BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Familiarity with industrial EDA tools.
- Knowledge of advanced CMOS technology and physical layout techniques.
- Solid understanding of circuit simulators and power delivery networks is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
