Your role

A Facility Chemical Engineer at Intel has the responsibility to provide Facilities Engineering leadership to the site organizations in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental, and Cost objectives. Here are the detailed job desc:

• Owning safety within an area of influence
• Ensuring systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility (or operations) impacts by meeting uptime goals
• Oversee projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule
• Oversee planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and modifications to equipment, machinery, facilities systems, buildings, and structures as required to support business requirements
• Delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing, and commissioning solutions
• Effective collaboration with construction and operations teams to coordinate work in the field
• identify and implement opportunities to achieve the lowest cost of ownership to key stakeholders while maintaining reliability
• Results are delivered through the application of engineering skills and tools; systematic problem solving; statistical validation of system performance; collaboration with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, and key stakeholders, and through an in-depth understanding of the operating systems to determine and ensure compliance to existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes

About you

To apply for this position at Intel Malaysia, you have to meet the following requirements:

• Candidate must have Science degree in Chemical Engineering related fields.
• The candidate must have knowledge of the water treatment, including RODI water system, wastewater treatment systems, Bulk Chemical Delivery System (Formic Acid), gas systems (including N2, CO2, Forming Gas).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Candidates should possess strong engineering and computer skills with the ability to learn new systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office suite, other standard engineering computer systems etc.)
